These concept models have been around for a while but haven't been posted on the MDI Aircar portal / fanpage..so here they are at last! Wind turbines and solar arrays can directly power Recharge Stations for MDI's cars:
Notice now the water-born turbines to harness the power of currents &ndahs; many major cities are within reach of such natural resources – allowing again the creation of recharge (air refilling) stations for MDI vehicles that are direct powered by renewable resources:

Bottom line: In the long run, more power stations can start using renewable sources (rather than e.g. coal) for electricity generation. While for electricity coming from coal, 1) the overall (indirect) emissions of an electrically-recharged MDI car are lower than using thousands of millions of individual Internal Combustion Engines spewing pollution; furthermore, 2) we avoid lung-harming pollution from concentrating as much in high density urban areas. But now as can add:
3) Longer-term, we can not only convert electricity generation
power stations to renewable sources, we can even leap-frog ahead,
not needing to wait until full-sized clean power stations exist, but
rather use models like those shown here to build recharge stations
fully based upon clean renewable energy!
